ALLOWED

Indoor events with less than 20 people can be conducted in the 2G or 3G model. Minimum distance and the mask requirement apply. The minimum distance can only be undercut if all persons have tested negative and are wearing a mask. Events in closed rooms with more than 20 persons are only possible under the extended 2G condition.

A maximum of 200 persons is permitted in indoor areas that are not mechanically ventilated. In addition, the medical mask requirement, compliance with the minimum distance or an additional negative rapid test applies. In indoor spaces that are mechanically ventilated (continuous fresh air flow 100% with supply air from outside and exhaust air consistently exhausted from the space), a maximum of 2000 people are permitted if they test negative in addition to the 2G regulation and wear an FFP2 mask throughout. All persons must be assigned a fixed seat, which must be occupied during the event.

Your staff must be either vaccinated, recovered or tested negative. Artists must be vaccinated, recovered or have a negative PCR test.

You must digitally verify proof of vaccination or recovery (CovPass app / Corona Warn app) and match it with an official photo ID. You are required to maintain detailed attendance documentation showing the guest's full name, county or municipality of residence, complete address and contact information (phone number and/or email address), and time of attendance. You must keep the data for 14 days and then destroy it. For attendance documentation, we recommend checking in with the Corona Warn app. The data will be stored locally and deleted afterwards. It is not possible to hand over the data to authorities and data mishaps are therefore ruled out. You can also fulfill the attendance documentation by collecting the data in another way, as is the case with the pre-sale of personalized tickets.

A protection and hygiene concept is mandatory for events with more than 20 people. In the concept, you should also address the flow of visitors, access control, queues, compliance with minimum distances (1.5 m) and, above all, ventilation. The responsible authority/regulatory office can demand these protection and hygiene concepts from you for presentation.

If you also offer catering services, drinks and food may only be consumed at the table. Please also observe the requirements of the hygiene framework concept for catering establishments, which you can find here. In addition, you need a license for serving alcoholic beverages. This way you can inform the responsible authorities that you are planning an event. If music (not self-composed) is played, remember to register with GEMA and the associated fees.
